![]() I also believe that If you CRACK OPEN a vault by surrounding it completely, gargoyles will start to spawn in which messes up the quest targeting thing a little bit (I didn't plan on winning, so I hacked my way through them, but really you get no in-game bonus opening vaults, especially since the corners don't bloom meadows. ![]() Essentially the best advice would be to only place meadows around the spider dens, and the up/down/left/right of the vaults. There's definitely a balance in how much to lay down since it fills the boss meter. They're just a forced pick, and I wouldn't grab them if I had a choice to take only 1 top row card. I wouldn't drop more than 1-2 of your grove's early game, then leave the rest in hand. ![]() The villages will restore your life, and your gear will scale really well without killing you, because, again, you're manipulating the encounters to be easier. (you can move gear in your little inventory by swapping their spots, so perhaps consider saving your high evade% stuff until the very end if you have other stats better made for enemies)Ī big part of this build is you get TONS of legendary loot by killing vampires, ghosts, chests/mimics, and the champions. Enough said, evade is great for the endgame, but not necessarily as helpful everywhere else since you can net positive hp on almost every spider and slime fight. this can work well if you have 4hp per second with 1 hp and level 3 equipment, but will quickly become obsolete after going up further loops.Įvading damage on the final boss saves you 150HP per hit. Earlygame RestoreLife per second>Vampire, however late game Vampire>Restore Life per second, since the % restore scales faster than the flat rates going up to like 6hp per second when stacked.Įven though lifesteal isn't as good early game, I believe if you can have even just 1% lifesteal in the early game with say a ring, it will basically mean you get the full 1 hp per hit for free since it's the minimum per hit. If you can manage to get a good counter setup, you'll be draining a-lot more life by double tapping every mob. I strongly recommend a build ultimately focusing on lifesteal, evasion, and counter. Just stick them on a useless section of your layout, and you'll win eventually. ![]() That is literally the only reason I choose them, and I only actually reccomend using like 2 of them to help the early game loot-curve when you're still trying to get the ghost/spider/treasure/vampire & slime encounters going. The grove rat-wolves are easier to kill in champion-mode then skeletons. did you know that a ghost->Bunch of Ghosts in a ball-> Lazorbeam ghost? Did you know that every transition of a ghost can drop cards, and the later stages can drop some insanely rare loot? Yeah ghosts are great, and they really aren't very scary at all. Ghosts will usually only take 1-2 hits in all forms if you don't miss, and drop great loot. I found spider nests usually actually net me positive hp with my lifesteal builds, and the ghosts aren't that hard. Place your ghosts on intersections with bucks of spiders nests. they'll keep coming back, and the vampires aren't that hard alone. Place your vampires as early as you can, targeting locations that will ONLY HAVE SLIMES on them. What's the big advantage of Towns? They give you 5% health back ANYWHERE ON THE BOARD in exchange for exchange for giving you a BETTER LOOT and fairly enhanced monster.īasically you want as many meadows and mountains as you can before you fight the final boss, but also don't want to wait so long that you have to fight him with less than full health, and without good gear, so I manipulated it all, and by having lowered the card count to 8, we are more likely to essentially get free stat upgrades, AND better loot. You're basically setting up all of the variables to work in your favor. vampires, ghosts/chest/mimic, spiders, grove.Grove, Town (AMAZING since it heals you and only will buff a slime or spider.Put your meadows around other buildings/objects when you can.If you farm up enough to buy all the buildings, it's really not that bad. I ended my run with level 7-8 orange gear, and 3 abilities. I was 1 hit from death when I won, so I easily could have lost, but this was my favorite setup without upgrading the buildings. The way that I won, was as below, (although I made it to the boss on my very first run and got slaughtered) so you definitely can get lucky. This is going to be messy, if enough people think this is helpful I might clean it up.
